Start from the pattern's cutting table
Create each named fabric, then enter or paste one row per repeated rectangular cut. Preserve the pattern's Cut/Finished wording and any direction or WOF-strip constraint.
Add comparison data separately
If the pattern states yardage, enter Pattern says and its usable WOF when known. This external reference never replaces the cut list and never becomes the stock-aware shortfall.
Calculate one joint plan per fabric
QuiltClarity considers different piece groups together so compatible cuts can share row width. Review the shopping amount, then cut from the selected placements and instructions.
