Projects and browser storage
QuiltClarity has no account or cloud project store. The planner saves your project in this browser's local storage so you can return to it. Project names, fabric details, cut lists, measurements, and results are not sent to QuiltClarity's analytics service. You can remove saved site data through your browser's settings; doing so also removes your saved project and preferences on that browser.
Local storage also holds your light or dark theme choice and a date-only marker used to determine whether a tool visit is a return visit. The marker is not a visitor identifier. QuiltClarity does not set a cookie for these features.
Sharing, copying, and downloads
Copy summary puts the displayed summary on your clipboard. Share result opens your device's share sheet with the summary and your project name, if you entered one. The service or person you select to share with then handles that content under their own terms. Printing and PDF export are prepared in your browser. You choose where a PDF is saved or sent.
Site analytics and hosting
On the public site, QuiltClarity sends a page visit and limited tool actions to a same-origin analytics endpoint. The stored record contains the page's canonical path and fixed action categories, such as which tool was opened. Some tool events include fixed categories or count ranges and a boolean return-visit category. The analytics record does not contain project content, URL queries or fragments, cookies, visitor IDs, IP addresses, browser headers, or referrers. Analytics Engine retains these records for three months.
Cloudflare hosts the site and handles ordinary network request metadata to deliver pages and the analytics endpoint. The browser sends no QuiltClarity analytics when Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control is enabled. Analytics failures do not stop the tools. You can also clear the return-visit marker through your browser's site-data settings.
Advertising
QuiltClarity has requested Google AdSense review. The site currently has an account-verification tag, but does not load advertising scripts or serve ads. No advertising cookies or ad requests are initiated by QuiltClarity at this stage.
If advertising is enabled later, this page will describe the actual setup before ads are served. Google's advertising services and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on visits to this and other sites. You can learn about Google's advertising data practices and choices at Google's advertising privacy page and manage personalized ads at My Ad Center. Any required consent controls must be in place before ad serving.
