Cut from named stock first
Existing-stock allocations are grouped by physical piece. Match each heading to the measured remnant or preset instance before cutting.
Then use the purchased-fabric plan
The purchased section contains only requirements not allocated to stock. Raw bolt length explains the geometry; Buy now includes safety and purchase rounding.
Instructions and diagram agree
Both are projected from the same placements. Use strip instructions where the geometry supports them. For irregular placements, follow the exact piece list and visual layout rather than inventing a simpler sequence.
Use zoom and the text version
Zoom changes only the on-screen view. Every diagram includes a complete text allocation with dimensions, piece groups, positions, and unused row width. The practical layout is deterministic but is not claimed as a proven global optimum.
