Measure usable geometry
Record each physical stock piece separately with across-fabric width and lengthwise length. Total square inches or centimetres cannot prove that the required rectangles fit.
Enter every required cut
Assign each group to the correct fabric and preserve direction, rotation, orientation, and WOF-strip constraints. A geometric fit that violates grain or motif direction is not valid.
Read the status and unallocated pieces
No additional purchase means all entered cuts fit the stock. If not, Buy now gives the rounded shortfall and the purchased layout accounts for the unmet instances.
